Life May Be Perfect, but a Temporary Escape is Still Necessary

I’ve been at this blogging thing for several days now, and its becoming more clear that this was a great idea. At first it seemed impossible to think of anything to write about, but now ideas are starting to flow. I’ve already found that they materialize most often while I am working. Eventually, I’d like to write about not only what I am reading, but also about my work. Some of my patients have been memorable for numerous reasons, and it would be beneficial for me to put some of the things I have seen and felt into words.

Until then, I’ll continue escaping into novels. This week I signed up for NetGalley and FirstToRead. In fact, I already downloaded my first ebook from NetGalley! This lead to a change in the goal I sat for myself on Wednesday. Instead of finishing two novels that I started in the past few years, I finished only one and then started the ARC ebook. So far, it has been a great read, and I can’t wait wait to share my thoughts with you guys.

In addition to reading this weekend, I’m going to be making some changes to my WordPress site. Most of you (my subscribers!) are bloggers yourselves. Did you design your site or logo? Any other suggestions for a new blogger?

I’ve really got to agree with what I see others posting; the key to success at any kind of writing is to work at it like prune juice: stay regular. πŸ™‚ Post often!

  7. Blogging is a great idea. Been blogging for little over a year and trust me, as you said, “At first it seemed impossible to think of anything to write about, but now ideas are starting to flow.”
That’s true because the blogging community is supportive and with commenting on each other’s work, there is meaningful interaction, which can inspire new ideas and thoughts for a blog/post. Hope to read more of your work. Wish you a wonderful blogging journey.
